j.r. had to get the checkbook out today. like i said previously, the court does not care what kind of ammo he has, boo. ammo still ='s alimony, child support, and half the loot. if he pulls another stunt like this one, he will be singing jailhouse rock. who knows....if he goes to the pen, he may be singing love me tender.

thanks for the nomination, but i am confident we have the right man in office. ---> harmony...i read your post again and realized i had not answered all of your question. you never know where flyondawall is going to be next. j.r. and sue ellen's day in court will be a long time coming. this past friday the judge determined that j.r. will pay the medical costs of the person he attacked. whoopee! what a punishment for a millionaire! the judge would have gotten j.r.'s attention a lot more if he had given him a minimum of ninety days in jail. at the very least the judge could have sentenced him to some community service work. i wonder how many counties in the state would have given such a sentence for attacking an elected county official? the lauderdale county judicial system drops the ball again and misses the opportunity to make a statement to those that think they are above the law. after the sentence handed down friday i think j.r.'s name should be changed to o.j.! what a farce!
Thanks for clearing the air for me flyondawall. I really thought this was J.R. and Sue Ellen's court date. You know from what I hear this guy should have pressed charges or something against J.R. I guess all this guy wanted was someone to take care of his doctor bills. You know that is JUST like J.R. - attacking someone from behind. He couldn't confront ANYONE face to face, because he is just what he is -- A CHICKEN!

J.R. got more than just having to pay the bills. He also got a 11 months and 29 days of probation.
To whoever made the last comment, that didn't put their name in --- I hope that you mean that J.R. is a dummy because he is the only dummy that I have seen around here. PROBATION? That is like a little slap on the back of his hand, "Now, don't do that no more J.R.". My goodness, the man assaulted another human being. Where is the justice in this county anyway? If people like this keep getting little slaps on the back of their hand, what will he do the next time? What was J.R.'s motive anyway? I didn't see where you guys mentioned what set ole JR's temper off in the first place. The way I heard it was Sue Ellen got him where it hurt, she took a small chunk of his chicken feed (six digits worth)and he couldn't do a thing about it, except try to scare her that is. The other thing I heard was that Sue Ellen was afraid to stay in the new house and has been living elsewhere til JR cools off. She may be back in the house by now.
Say sue ellen got six figures I think she should have gotten 7 figures that would have set the old stud puffin jr in a chicken spin ( like when you cut there heads off).
The comment was made about JR getting a little slap on his hand (In Civil Court) 11 mon.29 days probation-- means JR not getting into trouble with the law at all.... Someone told me , their lawyer friend said this Farmer Brown could take JR to Criminal Court also. So wonder what will happen next?
But will he take him to Criminal Court? That's the question here. He sure ought to. J.R. has gotten away with his shenanigans all these years, and now someone has a chance to put him in his place.

New Kid....i had heard the same thing a good while back, but held onto it because j.r. was acting pretty crazy. at the time i learned of this i saw no reason to rile him up anymore than he already was. now that he is on probation he will have to keep his cool unless he wants to be put in the coop. speaking of cool...have you seen the guy dressed in hiking boots, cut-off blue jean shorts, ten gallon hat, and a backpack cruising around on a harley? he looks like a cross between a hell's angel and a survivor participant from texas.
Actually, I saw him with a helmet on and couldn't quite figure out how he got it on over the cowboy hat. Then, I saw him without any hat at all, and I guess it was pretty tough because he rubbed most of his hair off in the process. Seems to me he ought to trade that Viagra prescription in on one for Rogaine. Watcha think?

?just a watching....no to both of your questions. i was just wondering if j.r. and sue ellen would try to patch things up now; without the hussy still seducing j.r. at the beginning of this sue ellen would have taken j.r. back if he had stopped his adulterous liaisons with the hussy. he would not stop. sue ellen hit the road. she did the right thing. now that she knows the real j.r. before attempting a reconciliation she should have him sign an afternupt stating he would have a monogamous relationship with her. the stakes would have to be very, very high for j.r. to abide by the rules of the afternupt. after all, he had her sign a prenupt before walking the aisle. if she were to consider taking him back she needs to make sure he is completely broken because of the pain he has caused her. i am not too optimistic that j.r. would go to such pains for sue ellen or anyone else for that matter. it would take a real man to do that...i really do not think that is what sue ellen is dealing with here. grow up j.r.! do you not think it is time you did that?!

bear...i suspect you know less about sue ellen than what you think. you need to check with someone reputable (not j.r.) concerning the will. jock did not leave her what you think he did. i dare j.r. to present the tapes in court. sue ellen could press charges against him for illegally recording a two way conversation without her consent. with his present probationary situation he surely does not want to do anything illegal...now does he? of course j.r. would try to weasel his way out of being responsible for the recording of these infamous tapes. you do know what they say about possession...do you not j.r.?
The tapes I know about were not done by JR. They were Sue Ellen's. I haven't even seen JR. Wouldn't even know him if I met him on a street somewhere!
bear...you may be missing my point. i doubt very seriously if j.r. can prove that sue ellen tapped her own phone line and then accidently taped herself in an incriminating conversation. what i am saying is that j.r. is in possession of the said tape/tapes. since the tapes were made without prior knowledge or consent of the apparent two parties then they cannot be used in a court of law. therefore, whether the tapes are legitimate or not, they are still inadmissable in court. in other words the tapes are illegal and on top of that...useless. if j.r. keeps on, i am sure he will have a huge lawsuit with which to tend.

there are some things of interest that you can see from the great river road. have you noticed all of the graffiti on the bridge? after viewing the graffiti you can gaze down at the scenic captain red's sawmill. for additional information you can pick up a captain red's sawmill brochure at just about any Tennessee rest area.

I happen to know Sue Ellen very well. I also know that she DID NOT have an affair!!! She took care of Jock round the clock and whenever she did leave she always had her daughter with her. I can only imagine what kind of "trail ride" J.R. took. And if Sue Ellen ever did leave it was to see her family and her daughter was with her.
